Weekly Recap: October 21-27

I had a great week of workouts and felt really good & strong!  They opened a new Barre3 studio in Powell and offered free classes all week so I was able to take two 6:00 AM classes.  I purposely chose the early morning class for two reasons: 1) Todd wouldn't have left for work yet & would be home with Lucy and 2) I needed to start getting used to being up early & working out because I start teaching Spin/TRX again tomorrow at 5:45 AM.  With that being said, I also took a Spin/TRX class yesterday to make sure I could Spin comfortably after giving birth a month ago.  Luckily, everything felt fine.  Running is already getting easier and I can tell I'm starting to gradually get some speed back.

Monday: 3 mi (9:14 pace)

Tuesday: 1 hr Barre3 class

Wednesday: 4 mi (9:06 pace)

Thursday: 1 hr Barre3 class
1 hr Power Flow Yoga

Friday: 3 mi (8:54 pace)

Saturday: Insanity Pure Cardio

Sunday: 75 min Spin/TRX

TOTAL: 10 mi

  1. I am so impressed! I think it's a great idea to work out first thing in the morning--I am hoping for an elliptical for Christmas so I can do the same :)

  2. That's awesome that you're already back into a routine! I love barre classes and they opened a studio near our new place, so I am dying to try it once I am cleared. Hope you are feeling great!
