I'll have the recap of the second part of our trip to California up in the next couple days but I wanted to make sure I did a quick post of our afternoon at the ballpark on Sunday since it was Cece's 1st baseball game. We got back into town on Friday night which was nice then that we still had the whole weekend to unpack, adjust to the time change, and get back into the swing of things.
A couple months ago our friends had invited us and another couple to go to the Clippers baseball game because she had won box seats at work so it had been on our calendar for quite awhile. The weather was absolutely perfect, not a cloud in the sky, and we were lucky that our seats were only in the sun for about the first 15 minutes of the game before we were in the shade for the majority of the time. Typically I would love soaking in the sun but Todd & I were still concerned with Cece getting too much sun since she was still recovering from her sunburn in San Francisco. Despite skipping Cece's afternoon (game time was at 2:00 PM which is right when she's typically going down), she was content and both girls took a short snooze on the car ride home. About halfway through the game, Lucy & I walked around and got some ice cream (which of course we had to share with Cece once we got back---she goes crazy if anyone is eating and she isn't) and then after the game, Lucy was able to go down on the field and run around the bases. She was so excited and pretty much sprinted all the way around!

Ice cream time!
Both girls devoured it!
Sisters sharing a seat (I can't get over Cece's scrunchy smiley face she makes)

and heading home after rounding third
