Happy 1st Birthday, Cecelia!

How is it possible that our sweet Cecelia turns 1 today? I think I'm denial that our baby isn't going to be a baby for much longer and I honestly cannot believe how quickly this past year has flown by.  I'm having an even harder time with Cece turning 1 than Lucy because I know that we won't be having any more babies and because Cece still seems more like a baby than a 1 year old.  Lucy started walking the day after her 1st birthday party but Cece literally just started crawling a few weeks ago so in my eyes, she seems like she's still only 8 or 9 months old.

If there are two words to describe Cece in this past year it would be content and laidback.  She's definitely our more "go with the flow" baby (which is probably because she's the younger one and doesn't really have a choice when we're trying to go places for Lucy) and is happy and chill 90% of the time.  Since the day she was born, she's been a great sleeper and continues to be that way.  We've never had to rock her to sleep and she was sleeping straight through the night (10+ hours) at 4-5 weeks old.  We did have a few rough patches with her in terms of not gaining much weight from 4 to 9 months and being late with rolling over and crawling (we like to think she's just lazy) but she's definitely improved on both accounts in the last couple months.  We also have issues with separation anxiety which has been challenging but hopefully she'll outgrow that in the next 6 months or so (which is when Lucy did).  Cece loves to eat and is eating all table food so whatever I fix for meals, I give her the same exact thing which has made life a lot easier.  It will be fun to see more of her little personality come through and will be interesting to see if she's as outgoing as Lucy.  I'm also waiting to see if her hair ends up being curly too!
