Halloween 2018

What a great Halloween we had this year....and the rain (for the most part) even held off!  We had a busy day; I worked in the morning while Lucy & Cece were both at school and then I picked Cece up from my parents after work and we headed to Lucy's school for her Fall Parade & Party.  The school was packed with parents because they had to move the parade inside and we were able to see all the kids walk through the hallways with their costumes on.  Afterwards, we went to Lucy's classroom for her party where they did a craft and had some festive snacks.  Lucy could've come home with us after the party but insisted on staying at school so she could ride the bus home.  Once she was home, we had just a little time to relax (while Cece took a late nap) and then I had to start making dinner so the girls would be ready for trick-or-treat to start at 6:00 PM.  It was just a light mist during trick-or-treating and the girls didn't seem to mind at all.  In fact, it was fairly warm out so they didn't even have to wear coats over their costumes this year!  My dad joined us and Todd & I swapped going out with the girls so one of us would be home to pass out candy.  Cece came home shortly before 7:00 PM and Lucy stayed out just a little after 7:00 PM.  All in all, they had a fun night and got plenty of candy to enjoy!

Got a quick pic of her as she turned around to say hi

Craft time in her classroom

These two girls are the best of friends

Such a cute snack!

I love how Cece is casually sneaking her hand in to grab a marshmallow off the apple

Lucy was great and shared her donut with Cece

One more of them together

Walking to the first house (there were hardly any kids out the first 15 min)

Running up to our neighbor's house

All smiles as we continued down our street

I eventually had to tie Cece's dress up because the fabric tape I used came off and she kept stepping on her dress

I was impressed with the number of houses that had Halloween decorations outside

Our pumpkins lit up on the porch

Cece & I hung out while Lucy, Todd, and my dad continued outside

She was loving this fun dip
