Technically, spring starts tomorrow so we officially wrapped up our last weekend of winter this year; however, we do tend to sometimes still get snow in these first few weeks of spring so we're really not out of the clear yet, especially since it snowed on Sunday afternoon! We had some really nice & warm spring-like days last week (the girls went on their first bike rides of the year) but then the next day it dropped like 30 degrees...and we still ended up going to the zoo. We went to COSI on Saturday morning and had some friends over that evening. Sunday was spent at home spring cleaning and getting organized to switch Cece to her new big girl room (hopefully within the next couple months, we have a few things we need to redo in the room we're switching her to).
On Friday, we went to the zoo; the girls were scoping out the construction for the new sea lion exhibit
Surfing in winter coats
Coming through!
Olive was on spring break last week so we were able to meet up with our favorite crew and spend the morning together
Checking out the elephants
The older girls were great at posing; the younger two were either staring at each other or their snacks
I'm in charge of our neighborhood Easter egg hunt this year and have to fill 800-900 eggs; luckily, Lucy has been very excited to help me so the last few afternoons (when she's not at school), she's helped me do quite a few
We went to COSI on Saturday morning and Lucy wanted to go into the new traveling exhibit about mythical creatures (they had her at unicorns)
They had dragons...
krakens (sea creatures)...
unicorns...
a play area...
and a Pegasus

We had a friends over on Saturday night so the kids were entertained while the adults could hang out (Cece & Keegan, our friends' little boy, are in the same tiny tots class together)
Happy St. Patrick's Day (although technically the girls were wearing these the day before)
