We spent last weekend getting ready for Easter--the girls got haircuts on Friday and on Saturday while Todd was at class (his last weekend of classes!), I took the girls to the Powell Easter egg hunt and once he was home, we dyed Easter eggs. Sunday was spent at home and at the gym. I had to teach my first free community class at Shred415 (I have one more tomorrow night and then will officially be on the schedule Friday early morning) and Todd & the girls came and then I immediately went to the other studio I teach at to sub a Spinning class. By Sunday late afternoon, I was tired!
These girls love to get their haircut
I mean, what girl wouldn't love to get a haircut AND her nails painted?
They both made some very bold color choices
They always do a fabulous job styling the girls' hair too--Lucy got a big braid...
and Cece got a smaller one but both were so cute
We walked from our house to the Easter egg hunt in downtown Powell on Saturday morning
There were a lot of kids there but plenty of eggs for everyone
Cece did a good job of collecting eggs
Ready to open their eggs to see what treats they got
Holding hands on the walk home (which, I was super impressed that Cece walked the entire way there and back...it was over 1.5 miles that her little legs walked with no complaining)
While Cece napped on Saturday afternoon, Lucy & I worked on her timeline for school
Once Todd was home and Cece was up from her nap, we dyed Easter eggs
It was the first year that Cece helped and she had fun dropping the eggs into the dye
Hanging with my girls
All finished
Cece couldn't wait to crack one open to eat it (she kept saying it was going to hatch)
My new favorite picture of Todd & Lucy when we went to Culver's on Saturday night for dinner
Had to get a picture with the girls after I taught at Shred415 on Sunday morning
And I was so happy that Todd even joined in the workout
