Hi! I'm Jenny, a 30-something mama, wife, avid exerciser, and former marathon runner. I married my best friend, Todd, in August 2011 and we had our first daughter, Lucy, on September 29, 2013 and our second daughter, Cecelia, arrived on July 18, 2016. While I'm not blogging about the girls, I typically blog about what Todd & I are doing, our travels, and my workouts. I'm a part-time Clinical Exercise Physiologist for a local health system and a part-time Group Fitness Instructor, teaching both Spinning & TRX. I also love to run and have run numerous half and full marathons. I also enjoy trying out new recipes, thanks to Pinterest!
I started this blog at the end of 2009 as a way to document our life and to allow our friends & family a way to see what we've been up to. It's become a hobby and something I enjoy doing. My favorite part is looking back to see what we were doing one, two, or three years ago. It's amazing to see how we've changed. I hope you enjoy reading about our life!
Hi Jenny!
ReplyDeleteI've been clicking through your blog this afternoon and it is really great! I love the variety of content, the photos of your adorable daughters! You clearly have a great thing going, and I'm glad to have found the site!
Anyway, I am a photographer, videographer, and artist in the Dayton area and I just wanted to introduce myself and ask that if you are ever in need of a photographer or media creator (for a logo, layout, video or photo series, etc.), please keep me in mind! I have very affordable rates, and I'm always looking to reach out to new collaborators. Please check out my portfolio and let me know if you'd ever like me to create something for you.
Best of luck! And thanks again for your lovely blog.

First and foremost, I LOVE your blog! I just graduated with a M.S. in exercise physiology and have been studying to take the ACSM CES certification exam. I have ZERO contacts in this industry other than my college professors, who mostly deal with exercise-chemotherapy research so I am shooting in the dark here. If you are still active on this bog, I would like to ask you questions on how you prepared for the exam, how long you gave yourself to prepare before taking the exam, how you learned how to read EKGs (I have a year worth of graduate school work with EKG, but it was never my best subject and I have yet to see one in the field)..Did you learn on the job? Was there a huge learning curve for you when you first started working as a CES? Like I said, I am shooting in the dark here so any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you :)
