I mentioned I went shopping for maternity clothes for the first time with my mom last weekend and I was surprised at how cute a lot of the clothes actually are! I feel like I hear horror stories about how unflattering they are but I think you need to embrace your bump and show it off a bit. We started at
Old Navy and I walked away with 17 items! Everything was 30% off that day too so that helped with picking up a few extra pieces. I had a hard time finding jeans but found a great pair at
Destination Maternity along with a couple more tank tops. I think I'd been delaying wearing maternity clothes for the past couple weeks but now that I'm a little over 20 weeks, there's no denying most of my regular clothes don't fit or the shirts aren't long enough. My goal with most maternity tops I buy is to be able to wear them to work and at home/on the weekends. I don't feel the need to buy two different wardrobes.
A few of my favorite pieces from Old Navy:
Tank tops
This will be good in a few months
Super comfy and cute
Little black dress
Definitely need workout capris since I plan on teaching group fitness classes up until the end
I'm more of a shorts than dress girl in the summer so these linen shorts were really light and comfortable
See? Maternity shorts can be stylish!
Another cute pair
And you can never go wrong with a pair of skinny jeans

So cute! I got the same dress in navy blue! I need to go back to return some stuff I bought online and pick up some tank tops!
I love them all! I have one pair of pants from Old Navy, but I still fit into my regular clothes so I haven't worn them much. I am excited to do some shopping, though!
And you are officially my pregnancy hero. I love that you are still so active. I've been trying to continue to run and take classes and it's amazing how so many people ask if it's "ok" to workout, etc. Umm, I don't have a disease...
You look amazing!
I love your maternity tanks from Old Navy! For some reason nothing from Old Navy worked on me...I have no clue why. I loved their things though--their pants (especially the colored skinnies!) are so cute! :)
not a bad haul! i try to stick with that rule for my non-maternity clothes (work + weekend wearable), but usually the lounging/exercise clothes are what call to me most. :)
These are cute. I just went shopping for some comfortable Maternity Shorts and other summer maternity clothes at Burlington Coat Factory this weekend. They had great prices and I found some really nice options that are so comfortable. It was well worth the money-- particularly since I saved more than I spent.
