Bump Update #2: Week 18

18 week with Lucy vs. Baby #2

Found out yesterday that we're having another girl!

How far along: 18 weeks & 4 days

Size of baby: About 5.5 inches long, weighs about 6-7 ounces, and is the size of a sweet potato

Weight gain: 7.5 lbs

Maternity clothes: Just had to start wearing some of my work dress pants in a size up (my clothes from pre-Lucy, thank god I kept them!)  Will probably need to go shopping for maternity clothes in the next few weeks but need to find some time.

Symptoms: My stomach has been feeling off lately like I'm always full and I just feel uncomfortable

Gender: We're having another GIRL!!

Exercise: Working out 6-7x/week and feeling good

Food cravings: Cake and brownies!

Food aversions: I made this sausage & mushroom pasta dish which was really tasty but the next day when I saw it in the fridge, the thought of mushrooms did not sound appealing

Movement: Starting to feel more and more kicks (and always in the same spot which I found out from our ultrasound that it's right where baby girl's legs/feet are so she's definitely kicking me already). I also felt movement from the outside for the first time a couple days ago!

Sleep: Tried to sleep with the body pillow a few nights which was nice because I slept better and wasn't turning over as much but on the other hand, my back was really stiff in the morning from being curled up against the body pillow all night so I'm trying to do without the body pillow for now

Looking forward to: Having Todd & Lucy be able to feel baby girl's movements from the outside

Best moment of the week: Finding out Lucy is going to have a little sister!  The thought of having 2 little girls running around our house makes me really happy and excited!  It was so awesome to have another ultrasound too to see how big baby girl is since we hadn't seen her since 8 weeks.  She was really curled up and had her arm on top of her head so every ultrasound profile picture we got, you can see her hand on top of her head.  She's measuring a few days ahead of my due date and weighs about 9 oz. already.
