Spinning has become my new running...as in, I never seem to get sick of it and it has turned into my go-to workout. There's only 1 actual Spinning bike out in the fitness area of the Y I belong to (there are a bunch in the group fitness room but I was told I couldn't use those...I don't get it but I guess I'll abide by their rules) and of course, there's this middle-aged man that gets there right when I do when it opens at 5:15 AM that I'm fighting over to get to the bike first. Clearly, he won on Monday and I ended up driving back home and just working out at home instead. It depends on the day but there aren't a lot of options for me if my SI joint pain/sciatica are really bothering me so the elliptical and treadmill are out of the question. For some reason though, the Spinning bike doesn't bother it at all and actually seems to help loosen things up.
