On Friday, Todd took off work and we went to the 2018 Circleville Pumpkin Show--one of my favorite days of the year! We knew it would be pretty crowded so we wanted to get relatively early so we didn't have to fight the crowds. It opened at 10:00 AM and we got there around 10:30 AM. Our first stop was getting our traditional pictures by the winning pumpkin and the pumpkin tower before waiting in line at Lindsey's Bakery for their famous pumpkin donuts. After that, we let the girls pick a couple rides to do, we ate some more food, and walked around some of the exhibits. We were there for over 3 hours and had a great time enjoying all things pumpkin.

The big winner--1607 pounds!
First, second, and third place
Love all the pretty fall colors in the pumpkins and gourds
Traditional photo--our 11th picture in this same spot since we started going together in 2008
Todd always gets pumpkin chili to eat while we wait in line to buy donuts
We only had to wait about 20 min this year (this was the line once we were close to the bakery, we were several blocks down when we first got in line)

Someone was excited for pumpkin donuts!
Outside splitting a donut and a cookie
The girls wanted to do the car ride and Cece was so excited...
until the ride started and she was terrified!
I'm not gonna lie, it was actually hysterical and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time--I really wish I had taken a video because her face was priceless
Lucy also rode the carousel (and then she did both rides again on her own since Cece refused to do another ride)
We got a couple non-pumpkin items like our favorite, fried cheese on a stick...
and a new one this year called the Mac Stack (mac & cheese sandwich)
So good
The girls enjoyed walking through the arts & crafts and bakery exhibit
