I loved that Lucy's birthday was on a weekend this year so we were able to celebrate the entire day! She requested donuts from Tim Horton's for breakfast (I had suggested Duck Donuts but she wanted Tim Horton's because we could walk there), we had her Wizard of Oz birthday party with her friends in the early afternoon, and we finished with a family "party" at our house later in the afternoon with both sets of grandparents, aunt, uncle, and two cousins.
Lucy picked a variety of tim bits to eat
With the birthday girl
Cece picked a donut with sprinkles
I had picked up some balloons (pretty much the only decorations we had at home) and also her birthday cakes in the late morning
Yearly picture with the blocks (her legs look so long here!)

Like I said yesterday, the cake for Lucy's party with her friends was a sheet cake from Kroger and then I ordered a cake from A Cake for Leroy for our house later; I had seen great reviews from her and the cake was so tasty! I will definitely order from her again

The best part of the cake were the rainbow layers on the inside
Lucy had mentioned wanting a rainbow cake awhile back and was surprised to see them inside her birthday cake
We did a good job polishing off half the cake
Opening presents
Excited to see it was the ice cream truck for her dolls she had asked for
My aunt & uncle sent her a package with American Girl clothes from my cousin's doll from when she was little; Lucy was thrilled!
All the family watching Lucy open presents
My in-laws stayed the night with us so on Sunday morning, we waked to downtown Powell to walk around the Powell Street Market
Lemonade break with MaMa & PaPa
We went inside the new Borrowed and Blooms shop, a cute little gift shop and florist
Lucy had such a wonderful birthday weekend celebrating with friends and family and we can't believe our little girl is already 5!
