Lucy turned 5 on Saturday and she was able to celebrate with her friends at a Wizard of Oz party held at Party Like It's Your Birthday. Lucy loves the Wizard of Oz, thanks to my dad introducing it to her about a year ago, and had asked for this theme months ago. In fact, she's even going to be Dorothy for Halloween. I contacted Party Like It's Your Birthday to schedule the date and told them the theme and then they pretty much did the rest of the planning! All I brought with me to the party were some juice boxes and a cake. They provided themed snacks, cookies, and the entertainment (the girls did a scavenger hunt to collect all their goodies for their favor bags, made a rainbow craft, and did face painting). It was low stress and everyone seemed to have a great time!

Once most of the girls arrived, they read the first clue and started on their scavenger hunt
One of the clues was in the splatter paint room (another activity they offer that we decided not to do)
After the scavenger hunt, the girls made a rainbow craft...
and did some karaoke and dancing on the stage
They also got their hands painted (instead of face painting)
