Our weekend started strong on Friday but then slowly tapered off as Cece came down with a cold and stuffy nose....and it started snowing on Sunday early afternoon so we stayed inside at home after lunch.
I went to an early AM workout class at System of Strength on Friday morning and once I was home and showered, I started a new book before the girls woke up. Once they were up, dressed, and fed, we headed to Lucy's school to check out her book fair. She had been a few days earlier at school to create a wish list and instead of just sending money in the next day to buy a few, she wanted us to all go so she could figure out which books she really wanted. Plus, she was so sweet and had added a few books that she thought Cece & I would like (Shimmer & Shine books for Cece and Mary Poppins books for me) to her wish list that she wanted us to see. After the book fair, the girls wanted to go play at Hoot Studio so we went there for an hour or so before coming home for lunch. We made Valentine's cupcakes after lunch which the girls enjoyed later in the afternoon for snack time. Todd & I had a "date night" in on Friday evening after the girls went to bed with sushi and a couple episodes of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
After I got home from class at Melt on Saturday morning, we hung out for a couple hours before going to see Tangled at the movie theater. It was part of the theater's Enchanted Tales series (we saw The Little Mermaid two weeks ago) and again, the girls were great and enjoyed their special treats of popcorn (Cece) and Twizzlers (Lucy). Once home, Cece fell right asleep for her nap since she was starting to not feel well and Todd cleaned our CRV to try an sell. He was gone for a few hours as he went to some dealerships nearby to see who would give him the most money. He was gone longer than expected and was home just in time for the girls' bedtime. Since he missed dinner (and I was waiting for him to eat), we ended up having another "date night" in with Chipotle and a movie.
The highlights of Sunday included going to a class at Shred415, officially selling our CRV, and Lucy spending close to 2 hours dancing to The Descendants and The Descendants 2 soundtracks. Long story short but last month, we bought pirate costumes from the Disney store for the girls on super clearance for our Disney cruise this summer (apparently there's a pirate night that people go all out for). The pirate costumes were from the character, Uma, on the Descendants 2. Of course, Lucy wanted to know more about The Descendants since I had no idea what it was so we rented them from the library and she LOVES them. She has been singing the songs for the last few weeks so I decided to get the soundtracks out from the library and now she spends at least 30 min every day dancing to the soundtracks. It's been a great way for keep her entertained and active at home especially during Cece's nap time. Sunday night ended with an early bed time for me since I had the pleasure of being at work at 3:45 AM yesterday morning.

and then she had to take it up to her room so Cece could nap (the music is too loud downstairs since our house is so open)
This girl loves to sing and dance
