After we dropped Cece off at preschool on Wednesday, Lucy & I went to Recreation Outlet; I honestly picked this because it was the only thing nearby that opened at 9:00 AM and it gave us time to play and still stop by a store Lucy has been asking to go to
Lucy had fun though and ended up randomly playing with another girl named Lucy that she met there
She played for over an hour and then we quickly went to Pizzaz at The Shops at Worthington so Lucy could finally spend some of her chore money on some new doll outfits before picking Cece up from school
Recently, Lucy had been asking for me to come eat lunch with her at school but the problem is she eats lunch at 10:45 AM so I would have to take the day off work (I typically only work from 7:30 AM-12:30 PM) just to go eat with her for 30 min; I figured since I was already off work last Thursday, I'd bring Cece with me and we ended up surprising Lucy with Happy Meals
On Friday, we went back to We Rock the Spectrum to play; I had taken Lucy a couple weeks ago but Cece wasn't with us so we all went this time (and of course, completely unplanned, ran into Lynn & Brody when they showed up)
Lucy spent most of her time on the zipline and climbing...
while Cece wore costumes...
and went down the slide on repeat
They were also celebrating Dr. Suess so the girls did a craft and got snacks
More costumes were worn at home later on Friday too
Since Todd had class on Saturday morning, I had to take both girls with me to sign Lucy up for PSR (religion class) for next school year at our church; we got there 15 min early and were still 50 something in line so we had to wait for over an hour to get signed up; once we were done, we went to another play place nearby
There wasn't a whole lot to do so I'm not sure I'd go back but the girls had fun for the hour or so we were there
Cece was curling Lucy's hair at the beauty shop
Once Todd was home from class on Saturday, I went to a friend's house for a Mardi Gras Murder Mystery party; she outdid herself on the New Orleans food and drinks...
and we all had so much fun trying to solve the mystery
I took the girls with me to Shred415 on Sunday morning for a class...
and when we got home after the grocery store, the girls had asked for Todd to bring the rocking horse up from the basement so this was their entertainment for most of the day
It's hard to believe it's already March, especially since it snowed a couple inches on Sunday afternoon, but we're hoping for warmer weather soon and looking forward to those fun spring and summer weekends!
