Lucy had her monthly Girl Scout meeting at a local fire station
Each girl got to sit in the front and back of the fire engine and learn about the gear the firefighters wear
They were all such good listeners
The tour flew by and the girls really enjoyed it
We went to the Powell library on Friday morning and Lucy took some time to vote in their March Madness tournament of Disney villians
The girls also spent quite a bit of time playing with Orbeez
No meat on Fridays for Lent = sushi date night in for Todd & I
The girls playing together on Saturday morning
I even threw together a mini Easter egg hunt for them
They loved it and now expect to have one every day!
Todd needed to take some pictures for his capstone project for school so we had to load our car up with luggage and the car seat bags
Lucy did such a great job selling cookies at her first cookie booth (she was sad when her hour was over too)
And on the way home, we spotted something you wouldn't expect to see in a neighborhood...
someone riding a horse!
Todd & I had our babysitter booked so we could go on a couples' date night to Top Golf; unfortunately, there was a mix up with making a reservation so when we got there and found out it was a 6 (!) hour wait, we left and went to Pins and 16 Bit instead where we hung out and had bbq from a food truck
Nathan & Todd enjoyed playing video games
I started to feel sick a little before we left to go out so we didn't stay out super late and I ended up sleeping 12 hours on Saturday night. I still felt pretty bad yesterday and am hoping I'll be better in the next couple days (especially since I'm working at 4:00 AM tomorrow).
