After spending the previous day at our resort and Disney Springs, we spent our first full day at Disney at the Magic Kingdom. We arrived a little before rope drop to walk around Main Street USA and get our picture taken with Cinderella's castle in the background (we took full advantage of the memory maker package here!) Once the park officially opened, we headed up to Adventureland to hit up a few rides before going to Fantasyland for our first couple fast passes. We started at Pirates of the Caribbean which, in hindsight, probably wasn't the smartest idea because Todd & I totally forgot there was a hill (in the dark) during this ride so of course the girls freaked out and I'm pretty sure this is the reason Cece didn't like most rides after this. We had a great lunch at Be Our Guest (the beast's castle) and Todd & I both agreed we loved the ambiance at this restaurant the best out of any other on our trip. We met quite a few characters (the girls' favorites were Ariel & Tinkerbell) but held off on some of the princesses since we knew we'd see them on the cruise in a few days. Our fast pass rides included Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, and Enchanted Tales with Belle. We were also lucky to score an extra fast pass towards the end of the afternoon to do the Little Mermaid ride again (which, along with It's a Small World, were the only two that Cece actually didn't cry or whine on). We spent a full 9 hours at the Magic Kingdom and didn't come close to riding everything but the girls were tired and we had dinner reservations at 'Ohana which was at the Polynesian. I was stuffed after dinner but it was by far my favorite meal of the entire trip and I would definitely eat there again. It was raining after dinner so we went back to the room and hung out before bed since we had to get up early again the next morning for Hollywood Studios.
We took the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom from the Polynesian which was great because we didn't have to go through a long security line since we went through it at the Polynesian
The girls ready for the Magic Kingdom
Had to get a selfie with the castle in the background
Any time we saw a photographer, we stopped to get our picture taken
One of my favorite pictures of the trip

It really is pretty incredible to spend the day at Magic Kingdom
At the beginning of Pirates of the Caribbean (before the hill!)
We got our picture taken right before going down the hill in the dark (we're in the second to last row)
They survived!
Jungle Cruise
Magic Carpet Ride
Meeting Jasmine & Aladdin
Meeting Ariel...who even pulled out her dinglehopper to brush her hair
Outside the Little Mermaid ride
All I wanted to do the entire day was meet Mary Poppins so I was thrilled when we found her
Stopped for a Mickey pretzel
Winnie the Pooh ride
Outside the Beast's castle
They did an incredible job all week taking pictures

There are 3 dining rooms in Be Our Guest and we ate in this one
Waiting for lunch
It even looked like it was dark and snowing outside
Try the grey stuff, it's delicious!
One of the other rooms was supposed to be the West Wing with the rose
Meeting Belle
Riding the carousel
Taking a leisurely ride on the People Mover in Tomorrowland
Outside the Little Mermaid ride for a second time through
Holding Sebastian
The girls used another gift card to buy Belle dolls
Todd tried Lefou's brew at Gaston's Tavern
Todd snagged these seats with a great view of the castle while the girls & I went to get these HUGE ice cream cookie sandwiches
Also had to get a rainbow sprinkle Mickey rice krispie treat
Meeting Tinkerbell
Dinner at 'Ohana
The girls were able to get a specialty drink with their meal
and Todd & I were able to get an adult beverage
We started off with some sweet bread and then this was the appetizer and I swear, I could've eaten an entire pan of those noodles
The main dish was steak, chicken, and shrimp off these skewers followed by delicious bread pudding for dessert (which I'm not normally a fan of)
