When we started planning our trip, we originally were only going to go to Magic Kingdom for one day but decided to tack on one more day at a Disney park. We debated between Hollywood Studios & Epcot but ultimately went with Hollywood Studios because there were a lot of shows we knew the girls would enjoy and they could meet the Disney Jr. characters.
We were up early again on day 3 of vacation because Hollywood Studios had extra magic hours that day and was opening up an hour early so we wanted to hit up a ride or character meeting before our character breakfast. Apparently everyone else also planned to go to Hollywood Studios that day because it was really crowded. I really didn't think Magic Kingdom seemed all that bad the day before but Hollywood Studios seemed more crowded I think because the streets aren't as wide & just generally seem more congested and there aren't as many rides so the lines for the rides are longer.
We went straight to Toy Store Land when the park opened and Lucy & Todd were able to ride the Alien Swirling Saucers before our Play 'n Dine breakfast at Hollywood & Vine. The girls were thrilled to meet a few of their favorite Disney Jr. characters before heading back to Toy Store Land. After that, we spent the rest of the day going to various shows and meeting characters. We finished our day at Hollywood Studios with a quick service meal at ABC Commissary before heading back to our resort (where we just made it back in time before a torrential downpour!)

The girls wanted matching shirts to wear almost every day

Their plates were piled with food...of which, they probably ate about 6 bites of
They met Goofy...
Doc McStuffins...
Vampirina...
and Fancy Nancy
The girls really wanted to meet Woody & Little Bo Peep which was the longest line we waited in our entire time at Disney; we waited for over an hour (and there was practically no shade so we were dying!) but at least had some entertainment every time the green army men walked by
Posing in front of Buzz
Since we waited in line for so long, we perfected our selfie with Slinky Dog Dash going by behind us
Almost our turn!
Hugs from Little Bo Peep
Ok, that smile at Woody might have been worth the wait!
High five!

Todd & Lucy after we rode Toy Story Mania....which was probably my favorite ride of the trip but of course, Cece cried the whole time
Spent another gift card buying Toy Story dolls
Another day, another huge cookie for a snack
Incredibles dance party
Flexing those super hero muscles
Disney Jr. Dance party
The girls were just captivated
A few of the Disney Jr. characters even came out on stage

Todd even got a hug
Honestly, this is what most of our day looked like
Waiting for the Frozen Sing-a-Long show to start
The girls both loved this as well!

Our last show of the day was a production of Beauty & the Beast
After dinner, we stopped to get a couple snacks to take back with us to the resort
We were sad our time at Disney was over but were also very excited for the second part of our trip--our cruise to the Bahamas on the Disney Dream!
