Weekly Recap: August 1-7

I had a fantastic tempo run on Thursday despite running in the afternoon heat but unfortunately had been battling some stomach issues all week which cut my long run short on Saturday. I wanted to run at least 30 miles this week so I got up early on Sunday to get a few miles in before teaching my core & spinning classes. My plans for this week are to run around 35 miles/week and get in a 15-17 miler on Saturday.

Monday: 8 mi (8:03 pace; last mile in 7:19)

Tuesday: taught 1 hr Spin/TRX combo class
Insanity Pure Cardio (40 min)

Wednesday: Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit (40 min)
3 mi (8:15 pace)

Thursday: taught 1 hr Spin/TRX combo class
4 mi (7:36 pace; 7:53, 7:39, 7:34, 7:14)

Friday: taught 1 hr spinning

Saturday: 11 mi (8:19 pace)

Sunday: 5 mi (8:07 pace)
taught 20 min core & taught 50 min spinning


TOTAL: 31 mi
