Weekly Recap: December 30-January 5

Despite being pregnant from January through September, I ended 2013 having run 769 miles.  That definitely exceeded my expectations for the year.

This year, I'm hoping to run a couple half marathons and a full marathon, all of which will be local to save money and make it easier now that Lucy is here.  At just 3 months postpartum, I feel really good about my training and look forward to increasing my distance and speed.  Plus, I got a jogging stroller for Christmas (or rather, Lucy got a jogging stroller for Christmas) and will be able to start taking her out in a few months once it warms up.

I had a slight cutback week this week as I adjusted to going back to work and since I'm also subbing several Sunday classes this month.

Monday: 4 mi (7:56 pace)

Tuesday: Rest

Wednesday: 5 mi (7:45 pace)

Thursday: taught 1 hr Spin/TRX

Friday: 5 mi (8:10 pace)

Saturday: 9 mi (8:13 pace)

Sunday: taught 1 hr TRX Intermediate

TOTAL: 23 mi
