Last weekend was one of those weekends where we had the perfect balance between activities planned and down time at home. We went to our church's Christmas festival for kids on Friday evening, Made Local Marketplace on Saturday morning and out to dinner at Son of Thurman that evening (Todd & I decided to skip his Honda Year End Party), and on Sunday, I had my book club Christmas party. In between those things, we spent time at home playing with the kids, Todd did some yard work (before it snowed), and we were able to wrap all the girls' Christmas presents on Saturday evening (still have quite a few more to wrap for our extended family but it's a start!).

Visiting with Santa again

Decorating a cookie (the more icing the better, right?)
I might have snuck a bite
Her cookie was loaded with sprinkles and she thought it was so yummy
Went to an early morning workout class at System of Strength on Saturday and donated a couple toys for their Toys for Tots toy drive
Made puppy chow for my book club party the next day
Todd & Cece at Son of Thurman for dinner
All their burgers are MASSIVE and I got a bbq bacon burger
Todd got a burger with special sauce on Texas toast
Lucy & I eating dinner
The brunch spread for book club on Sunday...so much food!
We do a $5 favorite things gift exchange (there were 10 of us this year so we each had to bring 9 presents and then we would go home with 9 presents) and one of the girls always does such a great job on wrapping and presentation of her present that I had to take a picture
The next couple weeks will be crazy at work (and home!) but I know once Christmas is here, things should settle down and we'll have more time to relax.
