Week Day Happenings

We always have more going on in the summer  during the week than any other season (fun events and activities) so I wanted to make sure I documented some of what we've been doing in the last couple weeks instead of just documenting our weekends.

First up, Cece finally had her first haircut.  We totally were slacking on this because she probably could've had her first haircut over 6 months ago but it was one of those things that I kept forgetting to schedule and then all of a sudden our family photo session was coming up and I wanted to get her hair trimmed for that.  Honestly, I wasn't sure how well Cece would sit still but she surprised us and did great. She was so proud of herself afterwards.

I think Cece enjoyed watching herself in the mirror

All done

When Todd took a few days off work last week, we realized there was a noon Clippers baseball game on one of the afternoons. Literally, every summer Todd talks about wanting to go to a noon week day game so we finally checked this off his bucket list.  It was packed but the weather was perfect and the girls had so much fun people watching and soaking in the experience (let's be honest, they didn't really watch much of the game!).

Stopped to ride a truck...

and a jeep (Cece was terrified and wouldn't get on with her)

Sunny day which was perfect for a ball game

I was also off a couple days last week so the girls & I went to the park to play and I was shocked that we were the only ones there for a little bit!  They ran around and played for almost an hour and a half.  Cece had her 2 year well visit at noon that day and then afterwards, I took the girls to lunch at Chick-fil-A although they were most excited about the indoor play area than the food.

We had the playground to ourselves!

Now if only I could get her to smile and actually look at me
