Other highlights from the weekend included a play date on Friday morning with one of Lucy's friends from Kindergarten who is also in her Girl Scout troop (Side note--we've also run into them at the child care at the Y several times and they have two other little ones as well, one of whom is Cece's age, so the play date was perfect since both Lucy & Cece had a friend to play with.), dinner at Culver's on Friday night (one of our favorite family friendly spots), dance class for Cece (we had to do a make up class from missing her normal Tues class since we had scheduled her first dentist appointment at the same time), and Lucy delivering all her Girl Scout cookie orders to the neighbors.
After our play date on Friday, we went and got a car wash; Cece is not a fan of the loud brushes they use to wash it
But she is a fan of dressing up!
Lucy spent part of Friday afternoon dancing to The Descendants movie
while I read part of this book (it was really good, I ended up finishing it on Saturday night because I couldn't put it down)
Best part of the kids' meals at Culver's is the scoop of ice cream at the end
Cece twirling in dance class
Donkey kicks on the mat with her teacher
Todd took the girls out to deliver Girl Scout cookies to our neighbors
These 2 are pretty much inseparable; Lucy wrote a story and was reading it to Cece
Dressed up for the Father Daughter dance; Lucy picked out Todd's outfit hence the pink
Cece was sad she wasn't going so she got in a picture too before they left
First thing they did was meet some of the princesses starting with Anna & Elsa
Lucy & Moana
Lucy & Ariel
Snacks were next
Followed by the photo booth
and finally some dancing
Todd said it was pretty crowded and he ended up running into a few people he knew (as did Lucy)
Such a fun night for these two!
