My first week of tapering went alright. I wasn't planning on taking 2 days off but I guess at this point, getting an extra day of rest might be better than getting in a workout. Less than 1 week till race day!
Monday: REST
Tuesday: 6 mi (3 mi @ 7:27 pace; average pace 7:38)
Wednesday: 40 min ellitical; lifted total body
Thursday: 7 mi easy (8:11 pace)
Friday: REST
Saturday: 8 mi (8:01 pace)
Sunday: taught 20 min core & taught 50 min spinning
TOTAL: 21 mi
