My training schedule got a little thrown off for my upcoming marathon because of the cruise. I definitely missed some important longer runs during the almost 2 weeks I was gone but I did get my 2nd 20 miler of training in on Saturday. I've never done my last long run 2 weeks out from race day but I really don't have many expectations for this race so I guess it's a good chance to see if this works better for me. I also really need to focus more on my nutrition before and during a long run. My last few longs runs I've really crashed the last couple miles and I know it's from eating and drinking very little. Luckily, race day is never a problem since there are so many water stops along the course. It is officially taper time! 13 days till the Columbus Marathon!
