Weekend Wrap Up

With less than 2 weeks until our wedding, Todd & I had a busy weekend of doing wedding stuff, but luckily we were still able to have some fun with friends. On Friday night, we went to Easton with some friends for dinner at Brio followed by seeing John Heffron at the Funny Bone, a comedy club. John Heffron won Last Comic Standing a few years ago and he was hilarious! I was laughing the entire show.

On Saturday, I had my makeup and hair trial at the salon I'll be going to on our wedding day. I'm not going to lie, I was a little nervous about my hair trial because whenever I get my hair done as a bridesmaid, I'm always a little bit disappointed but this time, I absolutely loved it! It worked out perfectly too because after getting done at the salon, I had to go pick up my dress for the final fitting so I was able to see how my makeup and hair would look with my dress.

Following my final dress fitting, I met Todd at Luce Enoteca, the restaurant where we will have our rehearsal dinner. We were able to pick out the menu we'd be having as well as some of the wine they'll be serving. I think our rehearsal dinner is going to be fantastic; their party room is actually their wine cellar which is fitting for Todd & I.

Outside of Luce

After Luce, we went to dinner at BJ's Brewhouse. I had hardly eaten all day so I was starving! The highlight of the meal was obviously dessert....I love their pizookies. It's a warm chocolate chip cookie straight from the oven with ice cream on top.

Possibly one of my favorite desserts of all time

Today was another busy day. After running and teaching, Todd & I went to the Dublin Irish Festival for a few hours. I won tickets from our apartment complex so we figured we'd check it out. We hadn't been for a few years but had fun walking around, eating lunch, and listening to some Irish bands.

As with any festival, there were tons of food vendors set up

They even had someone there building a gigantic sand castle

I got fish & chips while Todd got a pork chop sandwich

After a quick trip to the grocery store and doing some laundy, we wrapped all of our presents for the wedding (bridal party, parents, etc). It's such a huge relief to have that done! Thankfully, we'll be able to spend the rest of the weekend relaxing on the couch.
