Todd turned 31 yesterday and I turned 28.5...but I guess people don't really celebrate their half birthdays so the past few days have been all about Todd. On Saturday, after an afternoon of cleaning & watching OSU lose to Purdue, my parents took us out to dinner at
BJ's Brewhouse for an early birthday celebration for Todd. Afterwards, we came back to our place for cake, ice cream, and presents. I went ahead and made his birthday cake over the weekend so my parent's could help us eat some of it but we still have quite a bit of cake to eat on our own.

Opening presents from my parents
Yesterday on Todd's actual birthday, I made sure he had one of his favorite breakfasts....a cinnamon crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese from Panera. I know he doesn't care about his birthday but I love it so I try to do little things throughout the day for him. Once we came home from work, he opened a few presents from me (although his present is really our weekend plans we have coming up) and then I took him out to dinner.
Birthday dinner at
The Jury Room...I knew Todd would like it because it's the oldest bar in Columbus
Est. 1831
Spaghetti Alfredo Fritters to begin with....delicious
Todd actually went with a veggie meal....The Jury Shrooms
I also went with a veggie meal....Eggplant Parmesean, one of my favorite meals
Ending the night at home with a picture of the 2 of us....and this was try #6 on the self-timer
All in all, I think Todd had a great birthday and I know we're both excited for our weekend plan.
