My focus last week was the Rock 'n' Roll Chicago 1/2 Marathon I ran yesterday. Lighter week for mileage because I wanted somewhat fresh legs for the race. My goal was to break 1:40 and I came awfully close but the humidity got to me. No wonder there are never any full marathons in the summer, it would be brutal! I was really happy with still managing to run 7:39 pace. If only I could have run 15 seconds faster...

Friday: 5 mi w/ Todd (8:36 pace)
Saturday: REST (driving to Chicago)
Sunday: Rock 'n' Roll Chicago 1/2 Marathon (1:40:14; 7:39 pace)
