Seriously, I'm sick of this hot weather. I'm not one to complain much about a warm summer but this year has been too much especially when it's 90% humidity and 80 degrees on my long runs. Rest days are few and far between for me since I run 4-5 days/week and teach 3 days/week so I make sure to use my classes I teach as active recovery. Spinning always seems to make my legs feel better after a hard effort the day before. This week will be another increase in mileage before I take a week to back off.

Tuesday: taught 1 hr Spin/TRX Combo class
taught 30 min Core and taught 45 min Spinning
Wednesday: 5 mi (7:47 pace; 8:21, 8:02, 7:50, 7:25, 7:07--goal was to run each mile 15-20 seconds faster)
Thursday: taught 1 hr Spin/TRX Combo class
Friday: 8 mi (7:57 pace; mi 1-2 @ 8:15-8:25, mi 3-4 @ 8:00, mi 5-6 @ 7:50, mi 7-8 @ 7:40)
Saturday: 17 mi (8:15 pace)
Sunday: 4 mi easy (8:43 pace)

TOTAL: 38 mi
