What started out as a great week and should have ended with a 20 miler and 50 miles/week didn't turn out that way. After I taught on Thursday morning, my low back really started to hurt, so much that I ended up leaving work at lunchtime and took a half day to rest at home. I could hardly get out of bed on Friday morning but as the day progressed, it started to feel a little bit better. I strained L5 a few years back so badly that I had to crawl around my apartment for days. I guess the bright side is that it's not that bad this time but I still don't see myself running for the next week or so.
Goals are being readjusted for the New York Marathon and I'm looking to enjoy the race instead of setting a PR again. Let's hope I make it to the start line!
