After it being 80 degrees late last week, it finally cooled down a bit over the weekend and it was actually a little chilly both Saturday & Sunday morning. It's finally starting to feel a bit more like fall! We had a great weekend too; we spent Saturday morning and early afternoon at COSI followed by lunch at the North Market and on Sunday, we celebrated my dad's birthday. We decided to hold off on our annual trip to the pumpkin patch until this weekend with hopes of our pumpkin lasting until at least Halloween. I'm not sure how long they typically last before starting to rot but I didn't want to risk it.
Todd's favorite meal is breakfast so I made him this yummy Bagel & Cream Cheese Baked French Toast (from Pioneer Woman's A Year of Holidays cookbook) on Saturday morning
COSI closes for maintenance every year in September so this was our first time there after that and Lucy discovered they had added some new toys just right outside of little KidSpace
Check up time for the baby
Cece was just along for the ride
Hanging out while Lucy played (and the only picture I made it in the entire weekend)
Todd & Lucy mixing colors to find out what new colors it makes
Lucy thought this was the greatest thing ever! There was a fan at the bottom so when you put the colored scarves in, the fan would shoot them up and out the top
Cowgirl Lucy (I have no idea what kind of costume she's wearing)
While walking through the Progress exhibit, Todd discovered that a TV in the appliance store window actually played the newscast from the pretend newsroom so he made me go back and look at it while Lucy & him read the news
I don't foresee being a news anchor in Lucy's future with how bored she looks
Lucy had requested lunch at the red chicken place with the elevator (aka North Market) a few weeks ago so we ate there after COSI
Sisters before church on Sunday morning (pre-blowout/outfit change by Cece)
