Where we live, they always have trick-or-treat on Halloween, no matter what day of the week it falls on. This year, we celebrated Halloween and went trick-or-treating on Monday. Lucy was able to wear her Doc McStuffins costume one more time and we stuffed Cece into her elephant costume again (it was Lucy's Halloween costume when she was only a month old so since Cece is 3.5 months old, it was getting a little snug on her) and off we went to collect some candy. My dad came over so he passed out candy at our house for the first 15 minutes or so while Todd & I took the girls to a few of the neighbors' houses that we wanted to see. After that, Todd went back to our house with Cece to hand out candy while my dad and I walked around with Lucy. We switched one final time about a half hour later so Todd could walk around with Lucy and I could pass out candy. Lucy had so much fun and would've stayed out longer but her bucket was almost full and Todd decided it was time to come back. Once they were back around 7:15 PM, we only had a couple more trick-or-treaters stop by our house (we probably ended up having 60-70 kids total) and Lucy started to dig into her candy. She was very excited to try her first pixie stick which she kept calling the long skinny stick candy. All in all, it was a really fun night and Lucy is already asking when she can go trick-or-treating again!
