All Things Fall

After our afternoon at the Circleville Pumpkin Show last Friday, we continued our "all things fall" weekend with a trip to Jacquemin Farms on Saturday morning.  This was our third year going to pick a pumpkin and while they scaled back a lot this year (no hayride, no inflatables, etc.), it was actually really nice because it wasn't that crowded and we had already done most of those things at Leed's Farm a few weeks back.  They did still have a hay maze and corn bins to play in so the girls spent some time doing that and then we walked into the pumpkin patch to find our pumpkin.

Didn't take long for her to try to eat the corn

The pumpkins were huge this year!  We actually had a hard time finding a smaller one

Lucy wanted to take a picture in front of inflatable pumpkins (Cece doesn't look too thrilled)

On Sunday afternoon, we drove a few miles up north to Deer Haven Park (my parents had taken Lucy before but Todd, Cece, & I had never been) for their Trick or Treat Trail.  They had a pumpkin decorating station, hayride, and a trick or treat trail on one of their trails through the woods (it was probably between a half mile and mile long).  Throughout the trail, they had stations set up with games, animal furs you could touch, and treats.  It was so warm though that afternoon and while it was fun, I think we were more than ready to head home especially after waiting in line for over a half hour for the hayride.

Outside the visitor center

Jasmine & Abu (we have an actual monkey costume for Cece but figured she'd be way too hot with it on so we went with a brown onesie and khaki pants instead)

I was super impressed with this huge dinosaur skeleton inside the visitor center

Abu following closely behind in the stroller

They even decorated the entire trail which Lucy thought was so cool

Finally made it on the hayride!

Lucy enjoyed the hayride with bitty baby and her matching Jasmine costume (thanks Olive!)
