The Rest of Our Weekend

In between celebrating Todd's birthday over the weekend, we also took some time to get the girls' passports, had our Christmas photo session with Laurel Coffey Photography, and went to the new Legoland Discovery Center at Easton with my brother, sister-in-law, and nephews.  We spent about 2.5 hours there and probably could've stayed longer but we wanted to make it back home before Cece's nap time so she wouldn't fall asleep in the car

Lucy waiting to get her passport picture taken at the post office (we're going on a Disney cruise next summer so the girls will need passports)

Cece smilng for the camera

More pictures the following morning at Laurel's in-home studio

Waiting in line at Legoland for the first ride

Bigger group shot with the girls, myself, Meghan, and Jack

I think Todd was having a good time shooting the bad guys on the lego ride

They had a giant Lego display of Columbus as well as smaller displays of Cincinnati and Cleveland; Cece & William were watching the truck drive by

The North Market

The lights would even dim to simulate night time and the Lego buildings would light up

Cousins

The Cleveland display included the house from The Christmas Story; you can see Ralphie in his bunny suit on the porch

Another view of Columbus

Of course, there was also a replica of Ohio Stadium

You could even move the football players on the field (which is what Lucy is doing)

Once we made it into the main area of Legoland, it was divided up into different Lego types (Duplos, Friends, etc.) and you could build in all these areas; there was also another ride and a playground area

Cece building with Legos in the Friends area

Both the girls playing

Todd & Cece playing

Todd wrote Cece & Lucy's names in Legos so Lucy wrote Dad above them

Then she felt bad and included Mom underneath Dad

The Master Builder has a little workshop that you can watch them make their Lego creations; the guy on Sunday was making part of a Christmas display with Santa, the reindeer, and a tree
