Columbus Blue Jackets Game

Todd & I had a fun date night last night going to dinner & the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey game. We had bought the tickets back in January so I couldn't have planned that Kentucky would've been playing for a spot in the Final 4 at the same exact time the hockey game started. Turns out, it was probably a good thing I missed the game from what I heard on ESPN and read in the paper later. They played terrible.

We went to dinner at Press Grill in the Short North. It's a small but really good restaurant that serves mainly sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. This is actually where Todd & I went for our 1st date way back in July 2008 and we haven't been back since so it was fun to eat there again.

Our seats for the game were really good, we were a little high up but we were right at center ice so we could see all the action....including a couple good fights.

It was hard to get a decent picture because of the lighting

It was an exciting game but the Blue Jackets lost to the New York Islanders 4-3 in OT. Afterwards, we headed to the Big Bang Piano Bar to meet up with some of my friends but the line was ridiculously long to get in so after about 20 minutes of waiting and the line barely moving, we gave up and came home.
