Top 2 Tuesdays--Splurges

It's Tuesday already which means it's Top 2 Tuesday so you guys can get to know me a little bit better! This week's topic is the top 2 things you splurge on.

I typically try to save money whether it's using coupons at the grocery store (yes, I will admit that I do) or buying cute, trendy clothes at Target, but there are a few things I like to splurge on.

1. Running/Workout Clothes

With being an Exercise Physiologist, running marathons, teaching spinning & boot camp, and working out on my own, I spend a lot of time in workout clothes. Now, I do like to buy some inexpensive tanks or tees at Target, but I'm a sucker for cute workout clothes.

I love Nike Tempo shorts & probably own at least 10 pairs

And of course I can't run without my $125 Asics Nimbus! These are the newest Nimbus 12 that just came out

2. Vacations

I love traveling & thankfully Todd does too so we splurge a lot on trips, whether it's a big vacation or just a long weekend. I'd rather save on everyday things & enjoy a nice, relaxing vacation. In the almost 2 years we've been together, we've been to New York, Cleveland (several times), St. Thomas, Denver/Fort Collins, Houston, and Boston. I know that eventually we won't be able to go on all these great trips so we might as well take advantage of it now.
