Before we started on our almost 3 hour drive to Leetonia, we made a quick stop at Easton to buy a necklace at Tiffanys for his cousin, Stephanie's, high school graduation present. Todd, me, his parents, his sister & her family all went in on the present which was a great idea. What girl doesn't love Tiffanys? Refer back to my birthday a few weeks ago :) I think Todd regretted letting me go into the store with him, especially when the salesperson started writing down necklaces he thought Todd should get for me. But in all seriousness, I would never expect to get jewelry from there on a regular basis, it's just fun to look at.
After some torrential downpours on the drive up, we finally made it to Leetonia just in time to head to the graduation party. I didn't have my camera out much but I really should have because not only were there tons of people there but there were tables and tables of photos, awards, trophies, etc. of Stephanie's from when she was younger all the way through high school. It was very impressive! The majority of Todd's family lives in or near Leetonia so even though I've gone home with him several times, including Christmas & Easter, I was still meeting some of his extended family on Saturday evening.
My favorite part of the party, the dessert table! Todd's Mom made 3 sheet cakes which were delicious
Todd & I taking a break from eating & mingling
The party was from 4:00-8:00 PM and we stayed to help clean up a bit. Afterwards, we headed to Stephanie's parent's house to enjoy some adult beverages at their tiki bar in the backyard. It was dark out so I didn't take a picture but man, with the tiki bar & pool in their backyard, I'd be there everyday in the summer if I lived up there. It was awesome!
Sunday we got up bright & early and headed to church before enjoying a great brunch. We just hung out at Todd's parents house along with his sister, brother-in-law, and nephew until mid afternoon when we packed up and headed back to Columbus. Like I said before we went, I knew this weekend would go by fast & it sure did. I know Todd had a really good time at the graduation party catching up with family & friends and I was glad I was able to go up and visit too since I hadn't been there since Christmas. Hopefully I'll be able to go up with him again sometime this summer so we can go to the river & I can water ski for the first time!
