Weekly Recap: September 10-16

I'm feeling good, I'm getting faster, and I'm ready to race on September 29.  I prefer a 2 week taper vs. the traditional 3 week taper so I had my last 20 mi run over the weekend.  Best long run I've ever had--8:02 pace with the last 4 miles @ 7:55, 7:57, 7:50, and 7:24.  Taper starts NOW.

7 weeks till NYC Marathon

Monday: 4 mi (7:48 pace)

Tuesday: taught 1 hr Spin/TRX Combo class
45 min Boot Camp w/ Holly & Lindsey

Wednesday: 7 mi (7:34 pace; 3 x 1 mi @ 6:57, 6:51, 6:49 w/ 1 mi easy in b/w)
4 mi (8:08 pace; hills @ Sharon Woods)

Thursday: taught 1 hr Spin/TRX Combo class

Friday: 6 mi (8:14 pace)

Saturday: 20 mi (8:02 pace)

Sunday: taught 1 hr Spin/TRX Combo class

TOTAL: 41 mi
