Bump Update: Week 26
How far along: 26 weeks & 3 days
Size of baby: About 14 inches, weighs about 1 2/3 pounds, and is the size of a head of lettuce
Weight gain: 14 pounds but I don't really notice a big difference in the size of my belly in the past couple weeks (maybe I'm getting used to getting bigger little by little each day and don't notice it as much)
Maternity clothes: Maternity pants/shorts and regular & maternity tops although I did try on a pair of my regular jeans a couple days ago and was shocked they fit & buttoned!
Gender: Pretty in pink...we're having a girl!
Exercise: Running & teaching 6-7 days/week
Food cravings: Fries & onion rings....seems like I've been wanting a lot of fast food in the past couple months
Food aversions: Not necessarily aversions but not a lot sounds good this week...this hasn't happened in a few months and I hope it goes away
Movement: She'll always start moving if I lay down on the couch after work but I can feel her multiple times throughout the day at work, especially when I lean over at my desk and use my computer
Sleep: Sleeping great but some nights I wish I could get more than 6 or 7 hours...it's my fault that I get up so early to teach or run but I should do a better job of heading to bed closer to 9:00 than 9:30
Looking forward to: I got my baby shower invite in the mail late last week and am excited for that in a few weeks. I'm also excited to host one of my best friend's baby shower on Saturday. She's due exactly 5 weeks before me and it's awesome to be on this journey together with her.
