Todd and I had our 25th wedding to attend together on Saturday afternoon. Luckily, it was a local wedding and only our first of two this year. Todd's friend from college, Shane, who also works at Honda (but out in LA) was marrying Crickett, another engineer from Honda. The ceremony was at St. Leo's Catholic Church, which was just south of German Village in Merion Village. It was a beautiful, older church that had recently been restored. The only downfall was that there was no air conditioning but the weather on Saturday really wasn't too bad. The reception immediately followed at Huntington Park, where the local AAA baseball team, Columbus Clippers, play. We were really excited for the reception just because we wanted to see where it would be at the ball park and we also knew they were going to be serving City BBQ, our favorite local barbecue place!

When we got to Huntington Park, they had buckeye candies for the guests

I really liked the yellow & gray color theme they used

Hanging out during the cocktail hour...Todd only knew one other person at the wedding so it was pretty much just us two hanging out the whole night

Seriously, City BBQ is the way to go for a wedding reception
The reception went until midnight but we left a little after 11:00 PM because I was starting to get pretty tired and was driving us home. We had a lot of fun and since Shane & Crickett live in LA now, it was nice to see them, even if it was just for a short period of time.
