Ready for Baby!

It really is true when people say the 9 months (or 10 months...I'm still not exactly sure how long it is) you're pregnant will go by in a flash. As we got further and further along, the time started going by faster and faster.  The pregnancy seemed to drag those first couple months before I was able to see my doctor (I found out at 4 weeks but my doctor didn't see me until I was 12 weeks) and announce to the world that we were expecting a little one but it has flown since then. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea that in just a few weeks (or less), Todd & I will become a family of three.

Thanks to both of us having off on Monday for Labor Day, we were able to get a lot of last minute baby items checked off our list this past weekend and I can officially say that we're ready for our little girl to get here.  It doesn't help too that one of my best friends had her baby a couple weeks ago and a couple other people that were due within a few days of me have already had their babies.  I'm pretty sure Baby Rodrick isn't coming anytime in the next week or so and she seems to be pretty comfortable where she's at.  As of now, I'm feeling good and although we're anxious for her arrival, I think I'm okay with her staying put.  Ask me after my due date on September 22 if she isn't here yet and my answer might be a little different.

Our house is officially ready for our baby and I'm definitely in nesting mode....I mean, we actually cleaned out our fridge on Monday afternoon.  As in, we took everything out, threw out the jar of salsa that had been in there for 8 months, and cleaned all the shelves and drawers.  Granted, our fridge is less than a year old because we had to get a replacement one when the water filter wasn't working on the one we originally bought when we moved in, but I hate to admit this was the first time we'd done a deep cleaning.

We also put together the pack 'n play, rock 'n play, and bouncy seat

Hospital bags are packed

The car seat is installed in my car

and the nursery is ready (besides putting some maternity photos in the frames)

Full nursery reveal to come next week!

16 days until my due date....

Eeekk!! Isn't it crazy!? We set some of our stuff up right before I went back to school and it is crazy to drive around with a car seat in the back. Love the nursery, too! :)

Ok, so we HAVE to discuss your nursery because I am going with a very similar color scheme! I love it! Where did you find the glider/rocker???
