Another busy weekend in the books! It was also the first weekend of spring and we're still waiting here in Ohio for the weather to become warm and actually stay warm! It better not snow in April this year.
I was up early on Saturday morning (who am I kidding, when I am not up before 6:00 AM these days?) to run before Lucy got up. Once she was up and ready, Todd hopped on the treadmill to run for a bit. Lucy was pretty content laying on her activity mat watching her dad run.
The sun was actually out & shining through the windows as Lucy played and Todd ran
All that playing must have really worn her out because she took one of the longest naps to date....almost 2.5 hours! Todd had to go to work for a few hours so he was gone once she woke up. Lucy & I hung out for a little bit before heading out ourselves to run a few errands.
My view of Lucy on the monitor while she was napping
Her new trick is sitting up by herself! Although it only lasts for about 30-45 seconds before she eventually falls over to one side
We also tried out sitting in the cart instead of staying in the carseat....not sure what she thought of it and we might wait another few weeks before giving it a try again. Luckily, she doesn't mind being in her carseat so it really isn't that big of a deal
Todd brought Piada home for dinner on his way home from work and we ate dinner and played with Lucy until it was bath time. She loves bath time!
Her favorite thing is to try to catch the water when we rinse her off....she always has her mouth open and tongue sticking out like she's going to be able to lick it
Before heading to bed, she was able to cheer on UD for a few minutes....so excited that they made it to the Sweet 16!
Since Todd didn't get to see her all afternoon, he put her to bed and I was surprised when I walked in and she was holding her own bottle.....seriously, she is growing up waaaay too fast!
Sunday morning started with mass at church. Our goal this year has been to go to church at least once/month and so far we are 3 for 3! My dad was lecturing & ushering and he was really surprised when he walked to the back of church after doing his reading and he saw us sitting there. Lucy was on her best behavior too, she didn't fuss one bit and was quite entertained by the two little girls sitting in front of us. We ran a few errands and headed home for the rest of the day.
Lucy & I matched in our pink Kentucky outfits as we cheered on the wildcats to their win over Wichita State....both my teams made it to the Sweet 16!
During the game, Lucy snuggled with Todd on the couch and she ended up falling asleep
We capped off the weekend with a healthy (just kidding) dinner from Culver's and a movie
While we ate burgers & fries, Lucy gnawed on her toy in the jumperoo
Once Lucy was asleep for the night, Todd & I watched a bit more of the movie while eating our ice cream from Culver's.
These next couple months are going to be pretty busy for us on the weekends. We have a birthday party this weekend and Todd has to work the following weekend. Then, we have trips planned to Houston, Leetonia for Easter, and Cleveland as well as a 10 mile race and half marathon I'm running. Plus, we'll be celebrating my first Mother's day and my birthday, and we have tickets to see The Book of Mormon. It'll be Memorial Day before we know it!

I love these updates! She is such a cutie! And looking so big! I can't believe you can do bath time on a rug! Noelle splashes so much that we had to move her little tub inside the big tub! Also, what monitor do you have? Such a clear picture!
So many fun things coming up! I feel like that as well--soon life is going to get so busy! We have tickets to see Book of Mormon too and I can't wait!
