Weekly Recap: July 21-27

My week started off great as I had a couple awesome classes that I went to and a couple that I taught.  I was cleared by my doctor on Tuesday so start running so I ran a few quarter miles during class on Wednesday morning (less than a mile total) and I ran/walked on Friday with Lucy.  I was feeling happy to be back to running a little bit but of course that all quickly ended when I got another back spasm on Saturday morning.  Needless to say, running will no longer be part of my workout routine.  I see more spinning & perhaps yoga in my future.

Monday: 1 hr Clocked class at System of Strength

Tuesday: taught 1 hr Spin/TRX

Wednesday: 1 hr Asphalt Kick'n at Jones Middle School track (taught by System of Strength instructor)
taught 1 hr Spin Core

Thursday: taught 1 hr Spin/TRX

Friday: run/walk 3 mi w/ Lucy

Saturday: 1 hr Clocked class at System of Strength

Sunday: taught 75 min Spin/TRX

TOTAL:  2 mi

Spinning, perhaps yoga...and maybe some barre Monday mornings or (likely) Thursday evenings? ;)

That sucks that you finally got cleared and had more back pain. Maybe a little more rest is in order.
