16 months on January 29, 2015
Other things for this month....she only has 4 teeth (still!) but she has 2 more that are seriously this close to coming in. I swear I've been waiting all month for them to actually cut through her gums. What is it with her teeth taking forever to come in? She also started going to The Little Gym with my mom once a week while I'm at work and from what I've been told, she loves to run around (and occasionally stray from the group) and do somersaults. On the first day too, she apparently walked up to another little girl, tapped her to get her attention, and waved hi. She's definitely an outgoing girl! She has also mastered her shape sorter and can correctly put the circle, triangle, square, and pentagon in the correct slots on the first try. She hadn't played with it in a few weeks and when I got it out the other day, I was surprised at how easily she put them in the right holes.
These months are just flying by! The big thing this past month was our trip to California where Lucy was a flower girl in her Aunt & Uncle's wedding. She did a fantastic job walking down the aisle and was such a trooper the entire trip despite the time change.
While Lucy still isn't talking really much at all except for the occasional "mama" and "dada", she definitely knows what we're saying to her. If I hand her something to throw away, she'll put it in the trash can and if I ask her to put her clean clothes from the laundry in her room, she goes and does it. I can definitely see her being my little helper around the house when she gets a little bit bigger.

Weight: Probably around 22.5-23 lbs (She was 22 lbs 3 oz on December 30, 2014 at her 15 month appt)
Length: Probably around 32-32.5 inches (She was 31.75 inches on December 30, 2014 at her 15 month appt)
Clothes: Lucy is wearing anywhere from 12 month clothes to 18-24 month clothes (size depends on brand). The only thing she wears in size 18-24 months are some Old Navy shirts. It seems like they shrink after they're washed and the 12-18 month shirts were starting to get a little short on her (not sure if she has a long torso or if they really do just shrink a lot). She is also still wearing size 3 diapers and size 4-5 shoes (size depends on brand).
Eating: Lucy's favorite foods right now are mac & cheese, yogurt, cheese, brown sugar oatmeal, pizza, avocado, and watermelon. She will typically eat almost anything we give her although she definitely has certain foods she prefers. Meal times are the same as the last few months and she eats breakfast around 8:00 AM, lunch around 12:00 PM, and dinner around 6:00 PM with a snack after her nap in the afternoon around 4:30-5:00 PM.
Sleeping: Lucy takes at least one good nap every day (in the afternoon for about 2 hours) and will occasionally take a morning nap if she's tired (which is rare nowadays). She goes to bed at night typically between 7:30-8:00 PM and gets up between 7:00-7:30 AM.
Likes: Sitting in our laps to read books, twirling her hair when she's tired, stickers
Dislikes: Not being able to climb onto everything (either because whatever she wants to climb onto is too tall or because we won't let her)
Milestones: Started saying "mama" and occasionally "dada" this month, flower girl in Uncle Jeff & Aunt Meghan's wedding (January 17)
