We started our weekend off on Saturday morning by meeting Lynn, Nathan, and Olive at COSI, a science museum in Columbus, right when it opened at 10:00 AM. It was a good thing we went when we did because by 11:00 AM, Little Kidspace, where Lucy & Olive were playing, was packed! Seriously, way too many kids and parents than I can handle. They had a blast though exploring all the different areas of the exhibit...from playing with blocks, sitting in an ambulance, hanging out in a barn, going down the slide, buying fruit and vegetables at the farmers' market, and splashing around on the water table, they were loving it all.

Planting corn
Splashing around at the water table
Making a snowman out of different craft materials
Once it got a little too crowded in the Little Kidspace, we ventured into a couple other exhibits in COSI, including Life and Ocean. While I think Lucy & Olive much preferred Little Kidspace, I think the adults enjoyed themselves a little bit more in these areas!
Nathan & Todd competing against each other but Todd clearly had the advantage with his wider wingspan

Fun morning at COSI!
My dad came over once we got home to spend some time playing with Lucy before her nap. Once she was up, we decided to go out to Dewey's Pizza for dinner. We hadn't been to the newer one in Dublin yet, and in fact, hadn't actually been to Dewey's in general in a couple years. We've been having bad luck recently with long wait times at restaurants so we made sure we got there early, around 5:30 PM, and the place was practically empty! Granted, once we left around 6:30 PM, it was getting pretty crowded.
Todd & I split the Candied Walnut & Grape Salad (Lucy enjoyed the grapes)
We also had a half Meatball and half Southwest BBQ Chicken pizza....tasty but the Southwest BBQ Chicken was a little too spicy for me
After Lucy went to bed on Saturday night, Todd & I watched Gone Girl. I absolutely loved the book and had been dying to see the movie and it didn't disappoint!
A few days ago, they were predicting 6-10 inches of snow in central Ohio on Sunday and the forecast slowly kept changing so when we woke up on Sunday morning, we only had about 3 inches. It turned to rain in the afternoon and all the snow melted so it didn't end up being quite as bad as what the weather people initially said. Because we weren't really sure what the weather was going to be like on Sunday, we hadn't made any plans. Todd made us pancakes for breakfast, we went to the grocery store, did some chores around the house, played in the snow, went to Lowes to get some samples to do our backsplash in the kitchen, and watched the Super Bowl at home. Nothing too exciting and pretty low key but still a relaxing day.

All bundled up and ready to play
