We had a busy weekend which included a day trip to Leetonia for our nephew's first communion, doing some small projects around the house (which seems to be the case every weekend), and going to the grand opening party for the new PAI Yoga & Fitness in Gahanna.
The weather on Friday and Saturday was perfect and since I'm off work on Fridays, Lucy & I were able to take a nice long walk around the neighborhood. I was actually really surprised how far we (ok, Lucy) was able to walk (it was around a mile) and I only carried her for a short bit because she kept stopping to play in the rocks and dirt along the bike path. At one point, I was carrying about 10 pinecones she found but she didn't seem to really mind when I started throwing them back on the ground.

Todd got home from work early on Friday so we put Lucy in the jogging stroller and walked down to the Daily Growler so he could get the special beer of the day. Since it was so nice outside, a lot of people had the same idea so it started to get pretty crowded when we left around 6:00 PM.

We had to get up early on Saturday to make the 2.5+ hour drive to our nephew's first communion which started at 10:00 AM. It was a full mass along with the first communion for about 20 kids and we were able to sit with Todd's aunt, uncle, and cousins. Afterwards, my sister-in-law and brother-in-law put together a nice luncheon, which is where we spent our afternoon until we left to drive home.
My sister-in-law and mother-in-law always know how to put together a great party including fancy table linens & chair covers

On Sunday afternoon, we drove over to the new PAI Yoga & Fitness studio in Gahanna for their grand opening party/5th anniversary party for PAI Dublin. I teach Spin/TRX at the Dublin location but will occasionally sub classes at the new Gahanna location. We met Lynn, Nathan, and Olive there and hung out for about an hour, letting Lucy wander around and I was able to chat with a few members and the owners.

Another busy weekend in the books! Looking forward to the next couple months as we have lots of fun events & trips planned!
