18 months on March 29, 2015
This will be the last monthly update I do until she turns 2 and this is a week or so late but I was waiting to get her height & weight stats from her 18 month appointment.
I just love this toddler stage so much right now! We started Lucy in a weekly Tiny Tots class at the YMCA and she has fun running around, "jumping" on the trampoline (I say "jumping" because she hasn't actually quite mastered getting her feet to leave the ground yet), rolling down the wedge mat, and climbing through the tunnels they have set up. She really is such a sweet little girl and I know she's going to make a great big sister one day. Just this past month she's become very interested in her baby dolls and will push her Itty Bitty baby around in the stroller. She'll even sit the baby next to her and read her books, pointing out the pictures to her. A few times when I've woken her up in the morning, she'll give hugs to her doll and blanket in the crib and then wave bye bye to them.
Lucy is starting to talk a little bit more and can say please, up, dada, mama, no, and book just to name a few. She has also started to have some OCD tendencies which I hope is just a phase. She has to line her toys up a certain way or have them in a certain spot and if we move them, she'll go and move them back. If a toy is in a different spot than normal, she'll point to the spot like "hey, there should be a different toy here." Her sippy cup has to go on a coaster if it's on the coffee table and if she's in the high chair, it has to be in the drink holder. On the plus side, she's really good at cleaning up her toys every night before bed.
Weight: 24 on April 7, 2015 at her 18 month apt (44th percentile)
