Yesterday, Todd & I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. I remember thinking back when we got married that we would do some big trip for our 5th anniversary, like Hawaii, but it ended up being the most low-key anniversary to date, which I was actually totally fine with. I mean, we didn't even exchange presents. We also didn't have anyone lined up to watch the kids (I was hesitant to have our high school baby sitter watch both a toddler and a newborn) and my parents are on vacation so we ended up having dinner at Red Robin with the kids. Definitely not the most romantic or relaxing dinner but Lucy was well-behaved and Cecelia slept the whole time so that's a win in my book. I guess we can always go to Hawaii for our 10 year anniversary, right?
