Exploring Westerville

Since I didn't have my post-op doctor's appointment until yesterday afternoon, Todd took Monday and Tuesday off of work to continue to help with the kids since I wasn't cleared to pick Cecelia up yet.  We took advantage of his time at home and took a little adventure exploring Westerville.  It's an area of Columbus that we don't ever go to so we figured with the beautiful weather on Monday, it was the perfect opportunity!
We started off at Alum Creek Park North which allowed Lucy to run around and get some energy out.  After, we walked the half mile up to Uptown Westerville where we checked out some of the little shops and restaurants, such as Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn, Whit's Frozen Custard, and Uptown Deli & Brew.  We really enjoyed such a cute area and will definitely be back to try out some of the restaurants soon!

There's a huge green space at the park as well as a decent sized playground

Lucy loved climbing in this area but it made me really nervous!  Luckily, Todd was keeping an eye on her

Uptown Westerville

We let Lucy pick out a small bag of popcorn and of course she picked out Jelly Bean just because it was bright colored

We debated getting a double stroller but am really glad we decided to get one because it's perfect for little trips like this one

Sharing some ice cream

Lucy picked out the Happy Face sundae

And of course we had to make a stop for Todd to try out some new beers

Todd got a flight of beers at Uptown Deli & Brew which is home to Temperance Row Brewing Company; I loved the decor and atmosphere of this place and we're hoping to get back there for dinner at some point because the menu looked great as well

Your daughter is so cute... like my daughter she is a fan of bright popcorn flavors. My daughter also loves fruit medley popcorns with different colors.
