Easter Bunny at the Chocolate Factory

On Saturday, we went to the Easter open house at the Anthony Thomas Candy Company to see the Easter Bunny and see how they make chocolate.  We went last year and despite it being very crowded, Lucy loved it and we decided we'd try to make it an annual Easter tradition.  The event is free and you even get a few samples of chocolate along the way so you can't beat that!  We happen to be there right when Lynn, Nathan, Olive, and Brody were there, which was just by pure coincidence, so we all got to hang out for a bit (or as much as we could with the large crowds).  After seeing the Easter Bunny and going on a self-guided tour on the walkway above the factory floor, we ended up in their shop where we picked out some chocolate goodies.

Lucy & Cece with the Easter Bunny

After seeing the Easter Bunny, the kids got eggs with either jelly beans, chocolate eggs, or chocolate bunnies inside

Cece apparently was more interested in watching them make chocolate than taking a picture

My favorite part of the tour---the hand dipped chocolate covered strawberries

And there was one more Easter Bunny sitting outside when we left

Next weekend we'll continue the Easter celebration as we have our neighborhood Easter egg hunt and we plan on dying Easter eggs since we'll be visiting Todd's family over Easter weekend.
